Dude, I have an 8 muffler on my Mazda. Its big for my Mazda. If you had one on the Fit you would have to run it in the center.
*LAUGHS!*

Plus, the inlet on those are in the side and only 2.25in. Inside the muffler they have a chamber/flapper that when it senses more exhaust gas it opens up for me flow.
I just cut a 3in hole in the center and had a pipe welded in. 3in straight through.

why doesnt he just get a muffler shop to make a 3in. exhaust all the way out? no muffler. that would be loud as hell but would sound beautiful.

yup exactly. mugen si comes with the same tires. also the same tires that the spoon race cars run for endurance races. the tread is super durable. ive had them on since i got my wheels and they look like they havent worn down at all!

With all the Spoon parts you have I am a little surprised to not see the Spoon Exhaust, although your reason does make sense. I Love the Fit man you probably have the best looking NHBP Fit on the forum.

Exhaust cut out. Its placed into OEM or bigger piping. You then remove the block plate (or flip a switch on electric ones) and the exhaust pipe is bypassed into basically a hole.

Its like running open downpipe.

And Im glad Kelsey doesnt have the Spoon muffler. :-/

Retune would be better of course but you'd be upgrading your exhaust either way, practically the same
