been busy....here's some updates.


SHG_Chiquita is officially off the market...some wedding pictures with the mugen





We got some much needed maintenance items taken care of. The car has 85k and the brakes were shot as were the wiper blades.



New shoes installed and everything cleaned up



Drums installed and painted with high temp paint.

rotors are rotors..doesn't matter what brand they are

 

Hahhaa ohhhhh painted. I was wondering because of the color, I was like, "Ceramic? Nah...Plastic? I duno."

Surface rust on rotors is no biggie!

thanks! I have to admit, he has certainly made my interest in cars grow...but I grew up doing maintenance on our family cars with my pops ( while pretending to rebuild his 1965 corvette)

Me and my Rach(16) just rolled a "farmer's special" off the flat bed today! She has aspergers abit so it's even more exciting 4 me to see her getting into the restoration of "Perrenoud HB". It's an 88 civic HB 3dr. and is a cool lil ride for her. She loves to write short stories and I'm bett'n she gona work this car into a few b4 it all said and done ( grinning proud poppa syndrome )

Haven't been on here in a while, fail. But..here I am!

Fit is going strong, made it through an easy winter! This weekend I gave him a great wash inside and out to get ready for the Hard Parking meet in Mass.

Rear shocks are starting to go so we bit the bullet and purchased coilovers from a fellow fit freaker...


Love this car, will post more updates once the coilovers arrive.

One set of K1s may be for sale in the future. This is probably the last year this car will be daily driven. It'll be paid off soon and then we are adding another car to our collection in the spring. . I'll let you guys know

We do have meets, they are in the hudson valley, NY. The next one is being planned for sometime in July. I can definitely let you know when it's all ironed out, it'd be great to have another fit there (although you'd show me up) hahah

Just waiting for the toe plates SHG_Mike ordered to arrive so we can install this and align the car yay!

 

For some reason I always SHG was west coast, you all have some good builds (no offense to east coast people).
