Hey Dude, first of all car looks good, I like it.

I'm thinking of getting a set of OEM's myself, I've got a issue regarding tire size for 'em, though

OEM Rim width is 6'' and the usual 205/45/16 tires (best looking imo) aren't within the range recommendation for most brands , usually 6.5 - 7.5 (all I've seen so far, didn't do a LOT of research, though)

I'm seriously tempted to go for the OEM model, but it is sort of inconvenient that its width is 6'', makes me kinda of worried about getting the 205/45 for them. I might pass on that choice cause of it, unless I find its usual to go for that size on 6'' rims.

Do you or anyone *who reads this* got practical info on mouting tires that are outside tire manufacturer's rim width recommendation range? Is it usual that choice of tire (205/45) for 6'' wheels?

Thanks in advance!

I was a little worried myself but I don't for see any problems. The tires have that "sort of look flat" look to them with the narrow wheel but I didn't want to run the OE size tire so I went with the 205/45's.

I feel you about the OE tire size, don't want that measure on my car either
After doing some lame mods (a REALLY nasty drop) on my previous car, I somewhat lost my guts to go outside OE, well, except for a few things, such as tire size (205/45's don't compromise much ride quality, imo)

Good thing that you didn't have problems so far, my guess is that you won't have any over regular driving with the fit.

Thanks!
