Tirerack

Yesterday I drove 100 miles to a Tirerack warehouse in CT to get my wheels and snow tires. It was a pleasant ride with very light traffic. The warehouse is tremendous! It's a beautiful building with nice landscaping. They must have 100,000 tires there, with guys riding machines around to pick them up. One person arrived ahead of me, and one came after I arrived. Delivery was fast and efficient. I think I'll make this a regular practice when I get tires from them. I saved $68 by getting them myself.

I was wondering...

Do they have an outdoor playground with tire swings? If not, they SHOULD.

Customers don't hang around that long, and their insurance would skyrocket.

Which warehouse? South Windsor or East Haven? Almost got a logistics position with them a few years ago. Big account for LTL freight carriers.

That's a nice option to have. I wish there were a TireRack facility near me.
