He didn't import it. N1Concepts had that Fit sitting in the corner collecting dust so Leonard bought it. Then he went from there. There are plenty of ways to get the car legal on the streets.

I like it.
Lol, at least it doesn't look like every other Fit on this site.
Half the people on this site have spent money on their Fits they'll never get back out of it and continue to buy things that they'll change a few months or a year from now, myself included. Anyhoo, JMHO.

thats just how it goes.

looks like he does hit up the track or has
Luckily I made in time for Super Lap Battle 07. Although it didn't run too many heats, we were able to get some feel on this car.

The car is mines and i built it for myself. If you don't like it, it's ok.
It's my hobby and i enjoy doing it. I built it this way, cause no other Fit Owner would ever think of doing it.
Who enjoys a Fit Forum where a majority of the members don't mod their cars?
I think my car as a stepping stone to see what a "FIT" can become, maybe not the same color or flare that i put in mines. The car is my personal taste and not someone elses. I've been working on EK's for the last 5 years and parts are a lot more abundant.

For Fit owners, there isn't a variety of stuff you can do, but if more people do stuff, then more companies will create for us, performance, suspension, brakes, etc.
We are all car tuners on here I hope.

I did most of the work on the except for the bodywork, cage and paint. I do admit it could of came out better, but no one is perfect.

We ran the car at time attack all gutted interior, but we had some brake problems in the rear. (1 rear caliper kept locking up and kept making the rear end swing out)

The car currently doesn't run, as SSR (formerly DTR) is prototyping a header for it. (should work on USDM). Also, I'm waiting on a new engine harness.

Don't be fooled by looks.
The engine is a semi-built K24 and previously made 289 Hp at Churches Dyno.
I was originally going to run Kpro, but i now switched to a Motec M800/M&W Pro 14 setup. I'm shooting for 300 plus.
If anyone wants to race, i'll be down on a legal track when i get it running.

The cage is welded in, NASA spec. J's Racing Crux dampeners, kevlar recaros, and some other stuff

Also, the blingy parts isn't chrome, it's polished.
The wheels are HRE's 543, 3 piece fully polished and just for show. I'm planning to get some 15x8 for the road course.

It is registered and insured in the state of California, I won't tell how though.
Before i redid it, i did drive it around for a bit.

I'm busy with work, so hopefully soon i'll throw up a thread on my car.

So bash if you want to bash, its fine with me.
If you think this car sucks so much, and has so many flaws, can you build a car better?

oh yeah, it's not a HIN style car. It has no audio system, not even a radio deck.

nice to hear you speak up. Your car has top quality stuff and appreciate all the work put into it. I would think a fit forum would appreciate all the hard work put into another fellow fit but I guess not anywho do your thing man. Can't wait until I finish all my exterior and interior than work on the engine next year

i know some shops that can build a cage. i'm pretty sure you can find someone local to do it for you if you find the right spot.

The guy who made my intake manifold makes cages. I just haven't done it yet. My interior is like my final step for modding.

Well power to you if you actually use it. Hope you can figure out the weight issue with the swap. (one reason why Ill never do it). Forgive me if the title of the thread was HIN Fit and its painted burgundy with chrome (i no polished) wheels. And I assumed that it never got used. There are so many cars on HT and the like with NASA/SCCA/FIA spec cages FIA seats blah blah blah and still NEVER use them. Car would look good painted black or white on normal 15 or 16s.

Leonard,
Ive been a fan of your work since way back in the day when you posted on jspek.com with your coupe. All I can say about this build is WOW. I thought our little fit was pretty darn cool until I saw yours. Keep up the good work, cars amazing.
