My car's action shots from a local autocross event

I just went to the local VCMC motorsport club(www.vcmc.ca) Novice Champ Tour event on the Sunday May/24/2009. This is the 2nd autocross event for me & my Fit but first event after I got my mFactory 4.7 final gear set & Quaife LSD installed.

I was running in Street Mod that day. Definitely not a class that my Fit will ever get into top3 even in a local event like this. I was running with new Civic Si Sedan with CT eng. supercharger kit w/coilovers, 16x8" rims & R-comps & a 275whp SR20 swapped 1st gen 240sx.

I don't really mind to run in that class though coz I knew I'd be pissed if that certain class doesn't allow me to run limited slip or final gear. Might as well do something that I really wanted instead regreting it in the future.

Anyway here are the pictures that my friends took for me:

Here's my in-car video on the last run & best run of the day:
YouTube - nct2 bestrun

Modifications highlight:
- mFactory 4.7 final gear set
- Quaife ATB Limited Slip Differential
- Desmond Regamaster Evo 15x6.5 +45mm Falken Azenis RT615 205/50R15
- Showa tuning damper set
- T1R(Exedy) organic clutch set
- Megan header + T1R test pipe + SPOON catback(sports muffler)

With the new mFactory 4.7 final gear set, Quaife LSD, T1R clutch & RT615s, I can put that tiny little 85ish-whp to the ground much more effectively than before. There's a noticeable difference on acceleration & throttle response in straight line & around the corners with the final gear set, and I can go WOT much earlier with the LSD without worrying about understeer like a pig now.

I would definitely go get more seat time at autocross & lapping event this year to have fun & of coz I'll try to learn more about the new setup & maximize the performance out of it.

Thanks for all the kind words!

Redrumm: Here's the results from the event:

Jazz It Up: Yeah I'm still using the Recaro SPG with Nagisa super low seat rails. I'm about 3" shorter compare with my brother who sat next to me in the pic I guess?

AscGD3: Well yeah I was so happy. Coz I did so bad in the 2nd & 3rd run & my brother kinda gave me shit & said I'm totally capable to do a 44sec. So I had my lunch, took a short nap & tried to get my sh!t together in the 4th-6th runs. And finally I got a 44.4sec!

^no his is a MT, this is autox, you can't get to high speeds since they are all sharp turns on after another, in his case, 2nd gear should be enough for this course.

Yeah that's right I just need to upshift 2nd gear & I can pretty much run the rest of the course with my 2nd gear. If the back straight before the chicago box was a little longer then I will definitely upshift to 3rd too!

Here are the guys that I was running with, in the same class on that day(RX8 should be same class too):
