HONDA Paint Inferior

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I've been told by other "gearheads" who've owned Honda's that the paint jobs just don't hold up, i.e. thin layers of coats. I've got a black AT Sport & a silver Odyssey and so far, it either is living up to that premise or I've been thwarted into thinking that...other than that, been happy w/ the Honda's having transferred from Toyota's....

speak for yourself i guess. my experience is that bug/bird splats irritate the paint.

ordered my NHBP and have quite a wait, but my honda dealership offered an environmental package and since it was only a couple extra hundred on top of the undercoating price alone i opted for it... does anyone know if paint sealant (which has a warranty for three years) will help with the paint problem, or at least get my car paint fixed if needed? just thinking ahead.

I thought that the paint sealant was standard
here in Atlanta area we call it Clear Coat... ha ha
There is another company which offers a 'sealant' that is guarantee for 6 years: never have to wax your car again... 'showroom new looking.'
The only thing is that it is out of the way where I live and they do not give out prices... you have to have an appointment: suspicious

It was something to that extent... wont have to wax, guaranteed for however many years. The environmental package included fabric protection too... and like i said i figured what the hey since it wasnt much more for all three. is there anyone who has a NHBP who isnt have any paint problems?

just got off the phone with my Honda guy and i asked him about the paint sealant offered in the package i got (apparently its some kind of paint protection). anyway he said if anything happens (within the 3 year warranty time of course) to the paint, chipping, spidering, etc., they will fix it foc. i dont know if anyone else is getting offered this but it might be something to ask about since people are having paint issues.

Everyone told me it'd be bad to get a black one since I'd have to clean it all the time, but it's raining a lot in my area & black is just way more my style!

I think people who say don't get a black one because of the dirt and scratches either....

A) Didn't buy a black one and really regret it now
or
B) DID buy a black one but wish they took better care of it....

Could someone do a white fit sport, with the HPP Honda upgraded 16 inch wheels, Carbon fiber hood, and, the headlights off of a black fit? Thanks in advance.
