bought a 'mugen style' grille off of ebay. (around $60, unpainted, no emblems) then bought 4"x4" autobot emblem(s) around $15 each -bought a few coz my first one got stolen in a week. :b
bought an aluminum mugen badge for $20 (tho it's a bit too long) but oh wellz. bigger nameplate.

the whole project was a diy. (something i'd NEVER do with a REAL mugen grill coz frankly the real grille is damn expensive) tho i did buy the legit mugen front lip spoiler from a honda dealership...

coz it was an unpainted replica, it let me paint it whatever colour i wanted so i did a crystal black coat for the grille, then blacked out the autobot emblem (so it wasn't too obvious for emblem snatchers) and luckily the mugen emblem still fit (but overlaps a bit close to the vent)

Has yours been shipped V_Fit? Can't wait to see yours with the mugen bumper. Are you going to throw the hood bra on too? I was considering getting one to protect the new hood.

yep. i think it was shipped. but prob will take a bit longer as it will prob have to clear customs etc. (thus the pricey s/h fees) the hoodbra prob won't work as it's a "magnetbra" (think of those small flat fridge magnets, only this one is huge and covers the front part of the hood.) but yeah. a magnetbra stays in place with a bit of lining, but without a magnetic pull (from a metal hood), it prob will just flop around and may scratch the hood if dust or sand creep under the bra.. so it prob wont cling to the CF hood. i'll prob put the bra on for appearances, but it'll stay off when i commute to work or dive around..

you can read more up on it here.

It's really simple. just get a small screw driver and pry till the 2 prongs
in the back brake off. then paint. and finally glue back on.
or you can just get a new one to put on.
