Slammed the MR with Tint!

Ok - I decided to tint - first day of my vacation and the Fit was tinted at 9:00 AM today. They had never tinted one before but all went well and really like the results.

I told the guys to do what was leagally allowed in WV but I swear it looks like they tinted the front too. It may just look tinited because the light is being blocked out from the sides and back. I did not watch them working on the car the entire time - I was in the lounge watching the Speed channel - and just saw them doing the small side windows and the back hatch. LOL!

Yeah it looks like they did a really light tint on the windshield. A friend of mine has a 06 Lexus GS430 and he had the windshield really lightly tinted and it looks really cool. Anyway Red Fits are sick with tint!

Your headlights completely stock? Im sure they are but I never noticed that they had the top running light ambered from the factory. I did that to mine when I blacked out my headlights.

Snapped this pic real fast. Look, our headlights look identical. Hehee

Cat, car looks great with tint. MR really pops once tinted.

I painted my headlight black and parklight and signal light cover amber. Got this idea from a fellow fit owner here. It works for me. yeah our headlights do look the same!

btw, what lowering kit is your car on?

Who gave you the idea? They probably got it from me, I think I did it first.
My car is lowered on T1R springs. AJ-Racing can hook you up!

Hey it looks good but why did you take off the yellow rims? Did they not ride as well as the ones you have on now? It looks great even in the rain!Good wax job showing there, lots of rain beading up!

Basically that. I installed the Progress rear sway bar and I felt a difference in handling, but not how others were explaining. The yellow wheels were 14in and the tires were a little tall. The car had understeer.

I tired the pictured rims and tested handling, deff staying with 15's and up now.

^^I'm really glad that you went back to the blue rims - it's so different and one of my favorite combos on the forums. The yellow rims were different too, but to be honest, that wasn't a good thing. The Fit looks good all wet!

Cat- Your Fit looks really sweet, the tint really does make the Milano Red look even better.

Thanks! I love this car! I am looking into different rims to be the next mod - I just don't like the stock rims for the Sport. I want to stay with the same tire but just trying to find rims that will work. Then when winter hits I plan on buying new winter tires and put the old stock rims back on during winter driving. Put some new toys on my Fit - got a cell phone holder (Recaro SRD ) racing seat in black and grey. It fit perfectly in the A/C vent next to the window on the drivers side. I have a Dampachi Doll (very small) hanging from the rear veiw mirror and I got Sparco Shoulder Pads in Red! Just wanted to add some fun things to the car. I just ordered the delux pad set for the Fit that someone on the board was selling. Those will ship out on Monday - I love the idea of having those pads in every cup holder and open slot. It was something I missed that my other vehicle came with standard. I am having fun playing around with the Fit and hoping that I will know where to stop! LOL

Hahaa
I used window tint. Cheap, easy, done. I need to add another layer, its starting to fade a little bit. I have my fogs wired so that theyre on at all times. Guessing the heat is getting to the tint.
