My Car's New Shoes

Bought these wheels and tires for just $475 via Craigslist. 17 x 7 ADR Propulsion with 38 offset mounted on 205/40/17 (Federal) tires. Did I mention they are brand new and were still in the box when I picked them up; and the tires still have the stickers on them? The former owner had to get rid of it 'cause he sold his Civic and bought a BMW instead. Not really my choice of rims but for the price, it's not bad. Check out my red lugs.

Note: Made a mistake of posting my pics in the wrong section, this is the right thread to post pics. Let me know what you think.

Brand/Style aren't really my cup of tea but it's looking clean nonetheless.

I feel like I should hate them, but they look really good.

maybe paint the lips to match the wheel and it will look a lot better. But for the money, can't be beat.

I agree. If I have the money, my choices will be Volks CE28 or TE37. But with $475 price tag for both rims and tires, I jumped on it.

Thanks. It surprised me also how it turned out.

They look like propellers at an angle but looking square on the side, they look like 10 straight spokes.

Rims are pretty decent for the price. I remember before they closed Super Autobach's in Long Beach, there were Konig's that looked exactly like that for 85$ a piece. Not bad for the price. Nice decals, too. Are those the Jazz tails?

They are JDM Non-LED Tails. I did an exchange with a guy in the Philippines. He sent me his tails and I sent him my USDM tails for just $65 shipping.

Oh, nice. They definitely look a lot better than the USDM tails, imo. Nice progress on the GE!

I have Tanabe DF210's. No rubbing that I know of. I keep looking in my wheel well and checking out the tires for rubbing-- still no rubbing noted.
