New Camera = Winter-mode photoshoot

As an early Christmas gift, I went out and bought a DSLR for my fiance and I to learn photography on. This is our first DSLR and over the last few days I've had a ton of fun just fiddling with it and trying to learn how this thing works.

I spent a lot of time playing with the white balance, hence the reason there are so many similar shots.

Without further ado...

The car is in winter mode right now. I raised her up about 2.5" and threw on some old school Integra GSR wheels for my winter set.

For those curious, it's a Canon EOS Rebel XS. All of these were shot with a tripod on the EF-S 18-55 lens that comes with the camera with a 58mm UV filter. I also have a EF 75-300 telephoto lens, as well.

Snowflakes, sunflowers...same thing.

I was told they were off of a early Integra GSR...not that it matters or anything.

Looks great! Engine bay looks cool. Have fun with that camera. I'd love a DSLR.

FYI - Those were are indeed found on the 1994-1995 Integra GSR.

aha, I've been looking for a picture of a fit with these rims. I have some waiting for me in Vancouver when I make a trip down in a month.

This pleases me.

sol, I know you mentioned before that you were sporting a set of these for a time, do you happen to have a photo of them?
