I'll bet that K20 turbo Beetle is more fun than should be allowed while clothed! Civic Type R is pretty cool too, is that a JDM clone, or just a fertile imagination at work?

I would have thought there would have at least been a SBC or BBC shoved into something at that gathering,

I was into VWs for over 25 years and the beetle was impressive.... I always liked the idea of a turboed Buick aluminum V6 or a boosted Subie stuffed into a seriously tricked out BaJa Bug would bea nice car to live with or maybe the same in an old Micro bus.

A 21 window van with an STI motor and chromed vintage 911 wheels would be close to heaven for me! I think the J-swap is as close to a BBC as most Honda guys are ever gonna get LOL

i grew up in a bug family and everyone use to work at a vw shop so we knew a lot of stuff and still do, but we have never seen this before, my uncles bug had a porche turbo engine in his bug that wuld pull wheelies no problem, and my dad had a baja bug that was the cleanest around.

Heh. I think it's funny that a 2.0L counts as a "big" engine.

Here's one I did the carbon work for, so I'm partial.
Multiple best of shows and mag features. And it's getting some new parts for the next show here in Phoenix.

Classic Mini with turbo K20 mid mounted with Z Cars frame.

No shit man... Nothing can beat the Boss Hoss for "You put a what? in a what?"

(Yes, that's a 350cc (5.7L) V8 powered motorcycle.)

Big engine in a little car is how the pony-car got started. Take a compact Falcon, redo the body to make it look sporty, and drop a big honkin' engine in there, and you have a Mustang.

Now that's some serious HP/TQ I wonder would that be feasible in our Fits?
Not that I would do aaanything like that.....say with a salvaged Fit with front end damage because that would be a good platform
to beef up and tweek the suspention.
