My $199 Free Detail Photos
So...
For those who may have remembered, I bought my 2010 SSM MT Honda Fit in May. Two months later, I came to a stop at a light, and my foot came off my brake as my cell phone rang and I was briefly distracted. The car drifted forward and bumped the lady in front of me. No major damage, but there were some slight scratches on the bumper and because of a rod behind it, a larger "silver dollar" size protrusion. I brought it to a local collision place and the quote to fix it was about $500.
Two weeks later, I was involved in a real accident, with a guy rear-ending me and then I hit the lady in front of me.
So basically I was sandwiched between the two. This time, his insurance paid for repairs, which cost about $2000. I took it to same collision place, International Collision & Repair. They did a fantastic job. Then I learned they also do detailing.
They have a Facebook page, and I was told that the 200 fan would receive a Level III detail, which included tire dressing and fine cleaning of the instrument panel. I basically stalked the page through the week. I finally checked on Saturday night (because I live such an exciting life..lol) and lo and behold, the fans were at 199! I clicked "Like" and voila! I was the 200th fan and got a free detail!
I wish the tires were a little shinier, but overall, the guy did a pretty good job. Here are the photos:
Before (and wow, was my instrument panel dusty!!):

and After:
