Thanks it's a little Olympus digital- some of the shots are a bit blurry, too. Got the names of those forums?

Oh i see thats one thing i use a D40 camera its a great beginner camera and takes great pics. Here is a good read that some one on here suggested to me www.kenrockwell.com . Not really a forum but i learned more on there in one day than i did in about 6 months of picking this up as a hobby. But i had the forums saved on my old computer i will have to look some up. I remember i was on a nikon forum

Nice JAZZ - like the emblem.. Good shots as well, I've found the FIT/JAZZ is not the easiest car to photo, but your third pic is getting it. Nice background angle a bit high but your getting it.

The blur is most likely camera shake. Which Olympus? I was using the SP-350 and have since gone to their E-420 DSLR. My film days were all shot on the classic OM-1 then the OM-2. Have always loved them for their size and quality, sort of like why I bought the FIT.

A while back, when searching for my E-420 I came across this site: Digital Photography Tips and Tutorials and have found it to be a good resource.

Best I can say is shoot shoot shoot to find your own.

Camera

camera is an Olympus FE 280- a cheapie I got on closeout at Office Depot for $99.
It's small and good for carrying in a pocket.
Years ago I used to have a nice Pentax SLR. If I decide to get more serious about photography again, I will need to get a better camera.
The Ken Rockwell site & Digital Photograpy Site have some great info- thanks

Nice to see your Dishwater blue still around Susan. I do like that colour. My Taffy celebrated her 5th B-day by going to Niagara Falls this past Monday.

thanks Luis & Black3sr

It is called Tidewater Blue & I still love the color--on grey days, it can look silver and on bright sunny days it has hints of violet/purple-similar to the clouds in these sunset photos.

Just kidding Susan. Dishwater just popped into my head years ago when I read Tidewater. Don't see many that colour around here.

I must get me one of those Jazz emblems. I am running out of things to spend my money on.

LOL Dishwater!! --my car did look like dirty dishwater after I rode through some yucky mud a few weeks ago.

I haven't bought anything for my fit in almost 2 years now, but I got tempted by those cup mats that Luis posted about and just treated myself to a set. I still want one of the shark antennas, too.

Well time to spend some money. It would look good with the Fin and maybe some body side molding. I know these pieces are pricey but it gives visual of cutting down the height.

A pic of mine to think on

Hi Susan

For the Shark Antenna you can contact Arthur from Visual Garage

sales@visualgarage.com

He is a very good guy and the product is nice and very reliable, I go to the Automatic Car Wash almost twice a month and never has issues with the Antenna

It came with double side 3M and works very well

Hey Sooze - Your Jazz is still looking good, dishwater... leave it to WildBill, eh. I've turned into a now and again lurker HA

Not much going on with my ride, still running strong, but I'll agree with Bill on the shark fin and Luis is right - VG is straight up [hello Luis] easy to do business with.

Looking back four years and seeing it was when I got that Olympus I spoke about. Just replaced it with there OMD E-M 10 micro 4/3 w/ wifi. Sweet camera if your still looking around.

Any way - hello to all, I might be trying to check in more often.

Thumbs up for the VG Shark Antenna- I contacted Arthur as Luis suggested--he replied promptly to my email and they can match my Tidewater Blue. Price is good. My little Fit is finally getting some attention.
I cannot replace her yet with a 2015 model
