I like the look and the idea of never having to polish or wax again.... It would suck trying to keep a car with a matte black finish cool enough to drive during the summer that is a turn off... I have given a lot of thought to having my silver car painted satin black from the waistline up including the hood and hatch door but insulating the top would have to be done first and resistors added to the thermistor to help out the A/C.... I am sure I would like the look but I hate to sweat unnecessarily

 

I have thought about painting my nhbp in matte black. Anyone see the new Mercedes sl65 by bra bus in matte? It's so sexy.
