gawa's build 2012

Figured I'd start a build thread for 2012 and update you guys on what's happening to my Fit. Hopefully it'll keep me on top of things and complete what I've set out to do this year.

By the end of last year the Fit was pretty plain. Most of my time/money was spent saving up for the turbo kit, and ended up doing some stuff to the E46 daily driver as well. -_-;;

The Fit as it sat before storage:

There's some more shots of the Fit in my 2011 thread:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...wa-2011-a.html

Picked up a new steering wheel to replace the Momo just before I stored the car for winter.

And then the collecting phase began for the winter. Picked up a pair of Zeal buckets, the Kenstyle kit off of the Tjins, and I went to Japan for Tokyo Auto Salon and picked up random parts as well (more for collecting purposes than anything.. I doubt I'll end up using most of it).

***note: didn't buy these knobs & caps all at once.. just what I've collected so far lol.

Vertex - Spoon - Top Secret - Spoon
Varis - Seeker - J's - ARC

J's oil & rad cap are on the car.

That's about it for now.. It's still cold up here and it's going to snow tonight so... will have to work on the car later. :\

And if you're curious about my travels, here's some pics:

Thanks Mike! Didn't know you read my blog lol. How'd you find it anyway? o_o

Fitting: Nope, I don't work in the industry... just like Japan a lot so I keep going for vacation.

Small update... getting warmer around here so I swapped the tires off of the Loversouls and onto my temp wheels. Permanently retiring the Loversouls. I'll get some shots of the SSR's on the Fit once I take it out of storage in a week or two.

And on the side for the daily.. picked up a CSL trunk for cheap!

Thanks!
Need to get another bracket for the passenger side and I'll mount up the other bucket. But I don't think I'll end up doing that till the end of the season.

My mirrors are blinker only and don't have auto retract. I used this post:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/134525-post33.html
There should be 3 wires coming from each mirror for the power mirrors. The colours in that post didn't match mine though, but they matched the ones on my car. And for the blinkers, there's 2 wires, a power and ground. I just grounded to the door itself, and for the power wires, I tapped into the hazard switch. According to the pdf below (I don't remember where I found it but I have a bunch of wiring diagrams for the Fit), you'll need to tap into the green/red wire (pin 7) on the hazard switch for the left signal, and green/yellow (pin 10) for the right signal.

I hope that kinda helps.
