I took the fuel line fasteners off and added a couple nuts to act as spacers, to give the clearance. It does just barely allow adequate clearance. I was nervous about it at first, but there's been no problems. I also had to drill two notches in the twist beam for the sway bar u-bolt mounts. I've had it on two years and 25 or so Autocrosses. It does seem to work better than my original sway bar that only mounted to the spring perches.

Wow,

Those tires look so wide. Like seeing 285/40 tires on a mustang, eta. Looks so good.

Can you post up any dyno charts? I'm curious how the weapon r manifold and password jdm intake are affecting your lower end. A few guys show more torque with stock intakes than with anything aftermarket.

Saw this at the NCAC back in October. We had just bought our 08 fit a couple weeks before so I was real curious about it. Looked like fun!

nice graph. I have a feeling you are starting to lose air velocity in the upper range. If you compare the shape of your graph to others that have posted up with stock manifolds you may notice that peak power is held out to 6-6.2k rpm. Granted this is only a variation of 6-7hp. Your torque curve seems to be shifted to a higher rpm as well.

My intentions are not to hate on your setup, but I am interested as to how the weapon r manifold affects air flow across the power band. I used to have one of the early prototypes back in the day.

have you considered switching to an ik22 spark plug?

That's OK, I don't feel the hate... My Weapon-R has been on the car for 6 years or so. I had a K&N intake on the car until it broke a few years ago, and then I went to the Password JDM kevlar intake. That felt like it allowed more power higher in the revs. I've already upgraded the plugs, though I don't remember with what. They are iridium... I'll check the ik22 plugs out, after I make sure that I don't already have them. I haven't done any new mods to the engine in couple years... I've been playing with the suspension and alignment, within my budget.

I can't wait to autocross mine! I had a Miata and did not get to autocross once! Hopefully I see your fit around.
