Just what it says. I'm thinking white painted wheels would look nice to contrast the purple. Anyone running that type of setup? I'd love to see an example before spending the money.

 

Well, with the absence of feedback (I assume nobody on here has this color combo) I went ahead and ordered some Drag DR16's, white painted with a machined lip. Not really the nicest brand around, but the only other white option was Konig Racetrack wheels, and I didn't like the spoke pattern as much.

They're 16" x 7" so I'm going to have to stretch the stock tire just a tad putting them on.. the "official" maximum rim width for a 185 tire is 6.5" but I've done worse with a 215 tire on a 9.5" wheel, and I know those "hellaflush" ricer types have done even worse than that.

I'm tired of plain silver, and I've had too many black rims on other cars so I think white should at the very least be interesting. I'll be sure to post when I install them for future reference ::thumbsup::

As promised here's how the white wheels look on purple! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Also happy that wide 1" wider wheels, they sit more flush along the edge of the fenders, rather than sunken in.
