Here is a video of my neighborhood drive in 2008 Honda Fit (GD3) with the following specs:
- 5-speed manual
- Magnaflow cat-back exhaust (custom work)
- H&R Sport springs + Tokico shocks/struts
- Enkei RPF1 lightweight wheels 16x7
- Bridgestone Potenza summer tires 205/45/16
- Karcepts shift knob

 

Sounds very mellow I just bought a MF muffler im still waiting to arrive. Vids like these make me impatient to get it on...lol. TY for this even though i have 2nd gen the mellow tones tell me no rice rasp. You can even here the 12v to 16v change. Sounds like a quiet VTEC change over.

Keep in mind that changing the muffler only might not give you the deep sound...not sure. I did the custom cat-back system:
- changed the pipes to 2"
- changed the muffler
- delete of resonator

If you want to do this incrementally, then you can start with the muffler and see how you like it.

 

Oh im well aware. I plan on keeping resonator. Was gonna go with 2.25. Wh did u choose 2in? Which model muffler?

I did this one if you haven't seen my thread. There were no 2nd gens on YouTube with MF custom exhaust so I risked my pick on your sound. I knew this model would work because i purchase apex-i WS exhausts because its mellow.
