noob needs help, will these fit?

hiya guys. 1st post here.

i just bought a honda jazz / fit over here in the uk and since i dont know much about cars im just getting by (only just done some basic servicing).

anyways my current wheels suck and they dont look like they would even last that long. so i went around online looking for some alloys and found these: honda civic wheels new 16" 4x100pcd 45mm ofst 4 stud on eBay, also, Honda, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 27-Nov-07 13:11:52 GMT)

will these fit the jazz??

thanks for any help

No problem! Basically any 4x100 bolt pattern will fit. The offset if you don't want to rub is usually +45 or higher.

what if he wants to lower it later? Is +45 or higher still the rule of thumb?

Yup, +45 with 205's on a set of 16's should be fine. When looking for 17's, you might need to go down to a 195 depending on the manufacturer as the tolerance for a tire manufacturer to be off of their specs is about 10 on the scale...one of our local members had this problem, made the switch with +45's and had no problems after he swapped out the tires. I'm running +45 on my 15" Mugens, they shouldn't be a problem.
