Eibach Pro springs installed...
whats the ride quality like? I know that the stock ride quality isnt GREAT to start with. but i dont want to make it WORSE. u know what i mean?
Whats the drop in inches? front/rear?
How much gap is left? 2 fingers? etc.etc..
thanks a lot!
Reason why im so paranoid is b/c I had Ground Control Coilovers (uses eibach springs) on my del sol. with Koni Red Shocks.. and MAN... it was a BUMPY ride.. Given the fact that i was SLAMMED.. and had about 1 finger gap all around.. with no rubbing issues...

The ride is slightly firmer, but not harsh or uncomfortable with OEM shock absorbers. Drop is 1.6" in front and 1.3" at the rear. I have 1 finger gap in front and 1.75 finger gap at the rear.
I like the ride better and handling is much improved with these springs. I give the mod 2 thumbs up.

Seems like these are a great set of Springs for the money. I will have to get myself a set.
:)
You wont be disappointed with the Eibach Pro Kit springs. The ride is a little bumpier but not harsh. I like it a lot. The body roll has been greatly reduced also. I can't wait to get some Koni Yellows for these springs and lower the back by an extra perch.
One more thing, the rear seems to suffer a lot more camber than the fronts for some reason even though the drop is lower in the front. Anyone else experience this? I am just making this assumption with my eyes.

I just wanna know what the PURPOSE of cutting the bump stops would be?
Before I buy a set I wanna know everything I can so that I make an informed decision. I've never done a lot of this before (having never had anything that I really wanted to mod), so I guess I have to ask the questions to get the answers. Also, what would be the pros/cons of cutting the bump stops. I'd be a bit worried about having my shocks bottom out and start to push through the metal of the body/frame from too much rigid pressure. I guess I'd rather go with something that didn't drop it too low in the back since I'm sure the multiple stereo components going back there should cause the thing to ride a bit lower anyway...kinda evening things out.

bottoming out, the bump stops are tick enough. If you don't cut them,
your ride will be a bit harsher since you are hitting the bump stops sooner.
I installed my Eibach Pro kit last week and only keep it one day, it's not
confortable enough for me, and yes, my GramLights wheels with 205 tires
rubs like mad. Go stock go

I have the eibach pro springs on my ride. Been driving on them for like 5 months now. I love them. I didn't cut my bump stops and have no issue's. Great up grade for a great price. I paid $180 shipped for mine. Ride is great for a lowered vehicle and handling all around is greatly improved. Can't go wrong with these springs. Unless you want a bigger wheel. Then you might have fitment issues. I plan on sticking with a 15 inch wheel. Just going to go with something lighter and get much better tires.
