Arrow Does My '09 Suspension Need Replacing?

I'm planning to drive cross country (United States, 24 hours of driving)
Currently my Fit is so bumpy I can only drive about 3 hours before it rattles my brain (I had a concussion before, so I'm more sensitive to this).
It has 182,000 glorious miles so far.
Could the suspension be worn, and if so would new suspension make it noticeably smoother?

Other than the bumpiness I really like my Fit and want to keep it.
So I'm wondering how to make this Fit as smooth as it can be.

Looking for any advice and suggestions.
Thanks

An 11 year old car with a ton of miles like that could easily have blown suspension. It should reduce bounciness to replace them, if they’re in fact blown.

My new to me 2009 has 200K and had lowering springs. It looks good but rides like sh!t. I'll be replacing the lowering springs with the OEM and replacing all 4 shocks. It's under 100 bucks

Not sure if they're blown.
There is no bounciness. The ride is ultra-firm and handling is tight.

The problem is it feels like there are no shock absorbers at all.

Installed the KYB Excel-G in the rears and Strut-Plus's in the fronts.
Didn't hardly make a damn bit of difference.

Maybe 10-20% improvement over the worn out OEM shocks and struts.

Disappointed.

Definitely not worth anywhere near the $1300 spent.
Except that it might be safer now.

You spent $1300 for those? Did they charge you $1000 for installation?

(Sigh...)
The parts were around $550 online (cheapest I could find from a reputable auto store in my area)
Labor was SUPPOSED to be $350. But the mechanics snapped the studs of one of the hubs, and charged me an extra $400 for a hub installation.

So, yeah, in the end about $1300.

That seems like a lot of money for those shocks/struts. Unfortunately the advice on this site regarding the dampers wasn’t great either. More folks should’ve recommended Koni Orange.

Install price is fair other than the hub. Wild dude didn’t at minimum split the cost of that with you.
