GE8 Front Sway Bar Upgrade?

Hi all,

Currently in the middle of planning out lowering my Fit. I'll be going with coilovers (Tein Flex Z) along with extended ball joints and a rear sway bar. It occurred to me at the same time that while doing my suspension I'm going to disassemble basically half of what's needed to drop the subframe and access the front swaybar. However upgrading the front swaybar doesn't seem to make sense to me: if the point of upgrading swaybars is to make the car handle neutral and cars like the Fit tend to understeer from the factory wouldn't it make more sense to add a rear swaybar and then leave the front alone?

I'm skeptical a stock Fit is tuned to oversteer. I'd expect if you take a corner too fast, the front end would just understeer off the road. A rear sway bar should make is less likely to understeer as I understand it.

How low are you going?

Always start with rear sway bars first. Then modify the front based on your driving style.

My apoligies, I'm stupid stupid -- I meant to write UNDERSTEER, lol. I corrected my post. And I'm planning lowering the car about 1.5-2" ish. We'll see when I put the coils on
