[Help] 7mm Spacer on jazz front wheels ?
after put a spacer, it will takes some space of the "stats" (i'm not sure i spell it right or not, wat i'm refering is the thing that in the middle of ur disc brake which allows u to put ur wheel lock nuts in order to screw it tight. honda jazz have 4 piece at each side). thats mean we will screw less inner than before putting a spacer...... in this case, is there anything bad will be happen ? do i need to order a custom made longer "stats" ? or it should be fine with now ? my spacer is about 8mm thick.... a mechanic told me i only can lock the nuts for about 4mm thread
the reason i'm using 8mm spacer on the front is because i bought a wheels which the size is based on honda fit GD1 (japan version) and the jazz i driving is GD3 (australian version). i never know that the GD1 and GD3 have different brake calippers size. if i'm not putting this spacer the disc brake will be sticking with the wheels and it can't move at all
Please let me know if its very danger and is there any solution for this ?
Thank you
