C-Pillar bar - have to cut stock trim to fit?

Hi guys,

New here from Sydney Australia.

Just bought a brand new Jazz VTi-S in black, manual. Picking it up tomorrow and fitting Buddy Club n+ coilovers later that day (hehe).

I'm keen on installing a J's Racing C-Pillar Bar but was wondering if you have to cut out any of the stock trim to fit the item? (I know some rear strut bars force you to cut holes into the stock plastic trim to fit on some cars).

I tried the search but found no results. Thanks in advance for any help.

You don't have to cut anything, just remove the plastic covering that the bolt is hiding behind. I ended up cutting the cover so that I could put it back, other wise it couldn't clip back in place because the C-pillar bar would be in the way. sorry if this sounds confusing.
