Lowering springs that give the lowest drop?

Hey guys just got a Fit the other day and have some questions about dropping it.From what I've read the lowest would have to be the

Tanabe DF series springs which is supposed to give a 1.9/1.6" drop

and the Sportline kit from Eibach which advertises a 2.0"/1.8" drop

now I'm coming from driving a dumped '94 Civic coupe that was dropped around 4",so these little drops seems a little....well....LITTLE,lol

Can you guys help me out?I know I can drop it as low as I want with fullcoilovers but right now they are out of my budget.I dont want to be dumped again,I just want to eliminate any finger gap.

also, will dropping the car void the warantee?

well.......the dealer can only void something if something aftermarket ruins something from the factory...let's say ur engine blows up, they can't blame it on ur lowering springs....but if ur struts go out, yeah they can blame it. Just be smart about it and put everything back 2 oem b4 takin it in lol. I know the df210's drop real low and eliminate finger gap, also the ride is sick. Not to sure about the eibach but they are a great quality spring.

I asked the dealer briefly about what would and wouldnt void the warantee when I just bought the car.He said they really care mostly about things that will break the engine. So I think I'll be ok.I mean I'll be doing it right, probably do the spring install myself then get it aligned.

Your fit looks great man, what is your suspension set up?Also are those wheels 15x7's or 16's?

Also do you know where online where they have a step by step DIY on changing the Fit's springs?I SWEAR I saw one on a magazine(pretty sure it was Honda Tuning)but I forgot which issue it was

thanks

I don't want to get into warranty talk b/c that has been discussed way too much. As long as the mod didn't cause direct damage then no it won't.

As for the drop, you can't really compare a Civic and the Fit in lowering terms. I tried to compare drops with my integra which was slammed on Tein Basic coilovers probably 3" around and scraped everywhere. I'm now on T1R springs and that drops the front 1.6" Let me tell you the front is slammed. I have nearly no finger gap on the front. The lowering of the fit doesn't need to be as much as Civics and Integras and I'm telling you this first hand. I was so surprised to see that much drop in my fit, I was actually dissappointed b/c I was tired of dealing with scraping on my teg and especially on a new car. I have the sports model so the underside of the front lip is getting beat up and that was only due to one or two times, the rest I take very angled.. I think the DF210 and Sportlines will definately slam the Fit. Now if you want it to tuck..then your call but I'll say that's wack not to mention ugly.

Thanks a lot guys,I hear a lot of good things about the DF210's so I'm pretty sure those are the ones I'll go with.
