the ultimate slamed fit thead
^^^Hahaha
I said the same thing with my xB. I would say I can only take one person with me so that I would scrape and rub.
Everyone hated it cause i had the 4dr car with good space but used it as a two seater

They are DME( Design Motorsport Engineering) full coilover, but the company have yet to release them.
And as requested more pictures

I'm the last blue on the right
Sound slike a good plan in theory. But the fits nose hangs out pretty far, and any more than a 2" drop and you really mess up your roll center. So handling will get really wonky and unbalanced. Also with coilovers the rear suspension only ends up with about 3" of travel at best. Go for it if you want, but it's not going to be safe.
Thanks, but honestly going lower is bitch to drive sometime, but we did slammed my fit to the point where my lip is just sitting on the ground, hell it was really cool for show, but driving F**k that. lol
I'm dropped 1 3/4" in the rear 2" in the front with smaller tires on (205/40/16) which makes it 2 1/4" rear, 2.5" front. I played alot with height bias front to rear and this is wha worked out best for handling. Went 1/2" lower all around and car wantd to skid instead of transfer weight properly,
all you people with huge drops... how do you keep from rubbing in the front? did you remove the plastic lining inside the wheel well? i just did a 2 inch drop and new 17s, and the rubbing in the front is terrible. what can i do?
you got the wrong offset rims, Also with stock shocks which are relatively soft, your more likely to rub in corners and with good bumps.
Removing the fender liner in the fit will open you up to a holst of elecrical problems sin'ce you'll be splashing water onto the headlightss and other harnesses in the area.

it goes above the fender where the screw is...and comes back out where there is a notch in the fender closer to the passenger compartment. I'll take pics when i get home if I remember.

Wouldn't be lowering my center of gravity therefore giving me better balance???
only to a point. Once the alignment of the lower control arm gets closer to level, the car stops wanting to proper transfer weight to the outside tire in a turn. this causes understeer issues and loss of grip.
To avoid this what would you say the lowest you can go would be. I also want to go low but dont want to the problems you stated.
An upgraded lower control arm would help right?
My xB was about 3"-4" from the ground and I did not have any problems with understeer and the car not transfering weight properly, thats why i am asking.
