Talking Looking for springs, suggestions?

I decided since I can't afford the coilovers I want at the moment I am going to have to settle for some springs...

I'm depending on my Fit-Freaks to let me know whats out there.

The main thing I am concentrating on is the drop, so if you recommend a spring, please also let me know how low.

Thanks alot.

P.S. I'm on stock wheels with azenis' so I can get pretty low without rubbing.

im running skunk2's and i love them. the drop is an inch and some change but its hard to judge cause i didnt measure it before i put them on. i am also running stock rims and of course there is no rubbing. the fronts look sweet cause there is just a smidge of tire tuck and the backs are close to tucking. i have heard that the tanabe's are lower but i dont know if the ride is all bouncy or not. the skunk2's arent as bouncey as i would expect from springs either so i am def happy with them. i will try to post pics later when i get home from work otherwise there are a lot of pics of cars on here riding on the skunks and tanabes if you cant wait. just do a search.

Stay put with a purchase!
Mid January, San Francisco Bay Area Fits are geting together for a sole purpose of evaluating springs. Enough of this searching in the dark!
We are planing to level the field on OEM wheels, equalize tire presures, measure drop on each corner and drive 10 mile ploted course including street, FWY and canyon. We will be rotating drivers in each car and use evaluation scoring system.
Goal is to find the best spring for a specific member needs. There is no such thing as comfort and ultimate handling. It is a trade off between the two. We have a members ranging from a teenager with a permit to a retired engineer and everything in between, so everybody will be able to identify with somebody.
So far we have members on Tein S, Eibach Pro, Progress, Skunk2, Swift,.....

I have Tanabe GF210

Drop is roughly 1.5 or so. Not too noticeable so you will still be able to go over bumps without worry. Performance of these springs are great IMO. Smooth ride even though my mom doesn't like it when I fly accross a railroad. No complaints on these, I rather not have it any stiffer than it is for daily driving. Sorry springs look funny on the car b/c it was raining that day I installed them.

if it was me. i would rock the tein front spring and the df210 springs. that would be the best combo.

the tein is the lowest overall. i love it..but the rear is a bit higher. it has the angel drop affect. im about half a finger in the front and 1 1/2 in the back from the fender and the wheel.

the dfs are lower in the back...but that gives the boat look affect. i hate that look.

handling wise...my teins do it all, i would recommend teins.

i'm starting to look at lowering springs and its a toss up between skunk2 and T1R

Bluecell, the lowering springs look clean on ur fit and thats what i wanna go for, just a small and even drop and plus i'm not gonna get rims anytime soon so i want it too look clean with stock rims

heres the comparasion from stock and with the springs on from T1R
