Koni!!!!!!!!
Anyways... CONFIRMATION! I saw in D-Sport magazine that Tokico will be releasing its HP series for the Honda Fit in Winter '07. Thats your Tokico blues for you teg and civic people.
And ditto what Ciburri said. Aftermarket shocks can provide big car-control advantages for an otherwise-stock vehicle, even if the shocks aren't adjustable.
ok.. question... i had koni yellows and ground control adjustables on my crx. i set the ride height almost back to normal. i had it set up so that it was best described at 'firm' not to harsh though... tweaked the konis a bit to get there.. so.. will the tokicos and some some spring setup get me there on my fit? whats the complete setup here? (springs etc).
Petition in the works!
I have started an information petition to Koni in an attempt to get them interested in producing shocks for the Fit. This informal petition is in the "group buy" section of the boards, here:

So, if you share this interest, make yourself heard with a post there, and spread the word!

My stock struts are starting to feel a bit jumpy after 30k miles with the Skunk2 springs installed. If these aren't out by the time they wear out I'm getting a set of Skunk2 Pro-C Coilovers!
So whats up Koni!! Do you want my money or should I give it to Skunk2?

Damn. Unbelievable. Don't you guys think all this will change as soon as these manufacturers figure out the Fit is actually a popular and fast-selling vehicle? I see more new Fits on the road, just in my neighborhood, nearly every week, and they're all going to need new shocks before long.
the issue is that our chassis is only used 2 model years in the US
so usage is very small vs other popular cars. im sure they will
develop one for the USDM 09+'s.
i think im going to do coilovers since i dont have much of a
choice. the DF210 on stock dampers + progress swaybar is fine,
but "fine" is not the level i want to settle at just yet... i want
the car to feel "fantastic" like how my other cars feel.
going to upgrade tires too... another set of 15" wheels but with
grippier summer tires.

Koni Update
Another Koni fan here. I spoke to a Koni R&D guy just a few minutes ago (23 July 08). They hear us loud and clear that we want Konis in the US. They have looked into making them. They need the support of Koni Europe, who is not giving the needed support. Koni Europe does not think their customers want/need a shock upgrade. They do not see the Fit as a performance car...
Now for the big BUT. It costs upwards of a $100,000 in tooling to make application spicific shocks. For our Fits on their own, that will NOT happen.
BUT...
They are in the final stages for 06' Civics. IF there is enough parts crossover from the Civic to the Fit applications they will revisit making them for the Fit. But not to hold our breath.
