Thanks!

the front can go like -2.5", the rear about -1.8"

right now im at about 1 finger gap if i was to use the stock tires.
Im running 195/50/15's and have barely 2 finger gaps, which imho is perfect
for street.

hmm these caught my eye as i'm looking into a coilover setup. As someone said, being in chicagoland is a plus. But that estimated price is killing it...

wala- well, you get wat you pay for, is the bottom line especially
with these more sophisticated systems.

finally got some low profile extractors today; waiting on my close
quarter drill coming in probably tomorrow. going to remove those
busted bolts and remove the Progress swaybar over the weekend
to see how the car runs with the c/o's only.

f-king $8 set of bolts costing me over $180 for the new low profile
drill and extractor set.

6) Noise: none. with the panducky boltheads the spring seat base
on the rear was tilted slightly where the spring would rub the spring
carrier; so i added dummy bolts on the other side of the spring
carrier's holes to let the base sit horizontal. no issue if you aren't
running a rear swaybar, but if you are, just remember to add dummy
bolts.

Can you post a picture of what you did here and why- I'm not following? Thanks

i'll have more picts over the weekend.

there are 6 holes per spring carrier. although the carrier base
is a round O shape, think of the holes being layed out on the lower
half of the O in a U shape, evenly spread apart.

U--- bar---U <= kinda like that.

the progress bar uses the inner 3 holes to mount. the other
3 holes are left open. this makes the spring tilt towards the
outside of the car which can potentially make the spring rub
against the spring carrier wall.

what i do is add dummy bolts on the 3 outside holes so that the
spring sits horizontally. hope that makes sense...

congrats to RiftsWRX for his new baby girl!!!

jorge has also been helping me on the side regarding the
c/o install and setup.

you midwesteners are lucky... you got Justin, Jorge and me
to help you with the EnduraTech coilover install.

That does help - thanks. I had Skunk2 coilovers and Progress bar installed on the same day, and i have some bumping noises from the drivers side rear over some bumps. This may be the problem...

What did you use for dummy bolts? I used the panducky bolts to bolt up the Progress bar; do you think the bolts that came with the Progress bar would work as dummy bolts, or would I need something identical to the panducky bolts? Thanks again!

By the way - where in the midwest are you located?

i bought some generic stainless carriage bolts to use as dummy
bolts. the progress bar bolt heads are probably too huge even
for dummy bolt use.

carriage bolts look like this... mine is much shorter though.

im in IL.

alright..got my Milwaukee close quarter drill this morning so will
extract those busted rusted swaybar bolts on Sat. will take
some picts as well on the dummy bolts im using to give you
guys an idea.

then going to remove the Progress bar off the car temporarily
and going to try out EnduraTech-only and see where it takes me.

i also want to fine tune the heights. right now im at (from ground to
top of arch): Front: 585mm / Rear: 594mm so now 4mm lower than
DF210's.

still, car is smooth as butter through dips and bumps. just awesome!

anyone that wants to have spare rear shock bolts (bottom ones) here is
the Honda PN: 90176-SFA-010

these are the 14mm nut top 10x70(?) long bolts.

they were $3.95 a pop at the dealer. got them as have put many
on/off cycles on them already... probably at least 8-9 times. not sure
how many more cycles left, so just got spares.

let me play with it some more so i can get the height to
my perfection. im still breaking in the springs and dampers for
that matter. only got like 75miles on it still. but yah, you are
are welcome to hop on for a quick ride. you will be amazed.

hell, im still amazed at the level of ride quality these coilovers
provide. should've listened to Jorge from the getgo.

Yeah I am looking forward to it. But you know, no matter how nice they ride for a daily driver/family car, I wonder how many people will actually budget $800 into a daily driver just to have it lowered and retain ride quality. We aren't all ballers like you! lol

It is just something for the people at Enduratech to think about.

I would like to see a real review from a outside person. Not someone who got a "hook-up", so they are speaking good on their behave.

SBT- here's a pict as promised. this is the driver side rear. the
blue dots are where the low profile screws go that mounts to
the Progress swaybar. The green is where the dummy bolts go.
the open hole is where the factory rubber mount orientation tab
goes.

hope this helps.

lol...
you ever read my posts on other forums? you should, cause i can be
very brutal when they do not work as advertised. ive been
told by moderators to chill at times.

as far as the EnduraTechs go this is definitely a nice set of coilovers
intended for daily drivers. very butter smooth. from the experience
i have with modding other cars and running different setups through
the years, i think this is a sound review (while not trying to sound
too arrogant. ) but hey, i think im only the 2nd person to
try it in the US besides Jorge, so we need more people to try it out
themselves and let them give their reviews.

i tried it finally without the rear swaybar today and it's still very
neutral. it feels more "natural" without the bar, imho. i definitely
like my ride.

"ballers like me?" ... im just a regular joe with regular joe cars
modded to my special preferences, that's all.

hey, there's that stimulus plan coming up early summer. i think perfect
timing to possibly shift some of that to these?

here's wat my car looks like today with EnduraTech coilovers.

i set the ride about 5mm lower than the DF210's so it is about a
2" drop. rides butter smooth though... you won't know i was
running so low. tires are 195/50/15, so shorter profile than stock.
