Enduratech Coilovers

Didn't see anything on these units when I did a quick search, so I thought I'd share the prototype and long term testing/development I've been doing with Enduratech.

They are a non adjustable coilover setup with rear suspension upgrade for the torsion rear.

I've been specifying different spring rates and working with them on fine tuning the suspension and can say that it's pretty much where it needs to be for the average street driver.

What's up dude! I have a call out to Justin over there and he'll be giving me a buzz or just signing up himself and doing the whole vendor thing, etc.

The pricing issue is being worked out right now. I will post that up here in the next few days.

Meanwhile, I will introduce myself. I am Justin and I do the sales and marketing for Endura-Tech. We will have available soon some Honda Fit Coilovers, as seen above that Jorge has been running on his Fit. I will let Jorge share his impressions on them with you when he has the time. Hearing it from me is just a sales pitch and I think you all would rather have an unbias review.

The first amount that we will have in stock is around 14 kits. For those who may like to know, Endura-Tech is a Japanese company with parts being made in Japan. Our parent company is NHK Spring Co. they make all the OEM suspension and valve springs for Honda, Subaru and other Japanese automakers. We also do a great deal of business in the performance valve spring market for racing series around the world.

The Honda Fit application is new for us. We are hoping that it will be received well in the Fit community. Thanks for your time.

justin/jorge- just make sure you can run 294 between 290/190 back
and forth without bouncing around too much. that is one of the
best places to test sus stroke, damping, and rates for streetability.

also irving park between york and manheim. jorge should be pretty
familiar with the area given that his shop is nearby. crap road mania.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will talk with Jorge about it and see if he has done any driving along there. I'm pretty sure he has experienced the suspension on Irving Park road.

thanks, if there is significant improvement over my current setup
DF210's on stock dampers, i would be interested...given that the price
is right. id like to keep the rates around 180-190lbs/in, maybe 250 in
the back.

Tell ya what. Come to the shop, and I'll be happy to give you a ride. Note... I'm even on WS-60's.. arguably the softest sidewall on earth. But I'll be happy to give you a ride down some of the more pathetic areas so you can see how well the damping is setup (especially rebound damping at full on WOT high speed stuff on BAD roads).

Personally, I've already talked with Justin about going for an even stiffer rear setup, but for the primary role (majority street use) it's stiff enough to be fun and actually encourage a loose rear end for my style of driving, but soft enough to not jar your teeth out.

That's really what it boils down to. How do you drive? I like lifting off, cranking the wheel, and having the back drift.

With just a slight application of throttle, the rear snaps into place and I'm off. I won't divulge the spring rates used right now, that will be up to Justin to do, but it is something that can be tweaked once the first 14 sets are gone.

Kenchan- In regard to spring rates the Fit kit will come with 5k front and 3k rear. However, we will have the available option to purchase a set of 5K spring for the rear seperate from the way the kit all ready comes. In the case of Jorge, he has upgraded to the front being a 6K spring from the 5K it comes with, so this would also be an option. But the 5k / 5k set up could be the way to go, unless you still want a softer rear (Jorge has the softer rear with the 3K).
Pricing will be roughly around $1100. This includes the 5K springs and shocks up front, 3K spring in the rear with adjustable collar seperate from the shocks and new stabilink (as it is called in Japanese) for the front.
These do not have a camber plate for adjustment. They are primarily a basic set up with height adjustability.
I have a set in stock at our warehouse which will come with the 5k/3k rates. Contact Jorge if you would like to get them and to test his out. I think you will be happy.

Justin

$1100 seems a bit steep for non-adjustable coil overs.

$1100 was a rough estimate. It should be less than that once all the factors are taken into consideration. When it is all completed we will announce the final price.

Kenchan,

I apologize, they are for the front and as they are called in Japanese in Katakana is Stabilink. So yes, those would be the updgraded endlinks for the front and I do not have them for the rear. Thanks for bringing my error to attention.
