New suspension setup for this season

Here is my "new" Showa tuning shocks & Eibach pro-kit setup. I actually bought this suspension setup for a couple months already. Had it installed back in November but didn't get a chance to snap a few pictures until now. I decided to get another set of springs to go with these Showa shocks since the springs that supposed to come with these shocks lower about -20mm front & -15mm rear. I didn't wanna ship the springs all the way here from Hong Kong so I picked up the Eibach. Which lowers a BIT more & the difference on front & back keeps relatively close to the Showa original setup.

The car feels a lot more responsive around the corner while it's a lot more comfortable than running lowering springs on stock shocks.

Alignment done again & now I'm just waiting for another autocross & lapping season.

And here is a set of used 14" steelies that I bought. It's 14x5.5" +33 as I remember. Off from a VW Golf. Offset looks soooooooo much better than the OE Fit sport rims even though it's rusty

Yeah I love it. Really wanna go autocross/lapping with it now.....

At around the same price or a lil cheaper I can get JDM KYB SR special also. But I chose the Showa tuning ones. I like to try the KYB ones too if I get a chance.

How much were the shocks? What did you need to modify to make these fit?

Just the usual stuff. Re-drill the holes for the bolts at the bottom of the front shocks & a couple washers at the bottom of the rear shocks.

PM you the price Illusive

im also running the js racing/showa set up, got it bak in may..

with the js racing springs only lowering the car by supposidly 30mm front and 25mm back, i too wanted to go lower.. so have been lookin at the eibach spring kit also which seems to lower a bit more..

do u recommend this or would these showa shocks wear out more due to the extra lowness???

Well either way. Coz the pro-kit that I got only lowers about 10mm more up front. Is that worth it to get another set of springs & have someone to swap it for u & do wheel alignment again?

If that's the J's original setup & u bought the whole set then I will not mess around with it. Same case as Mugen/Showa setup.

I bought these just because I wanna try out Showa's OWN sport valving setup. That's what I can't get for a civic/integra....
