Anyone with Tein coilovers basic or ss(super street - damping adjustable)
I got answer from tein dealers that now there are both coilovers out,
i know that before there were just basic ones...so anyone with basics or ss on his/her fit...

I'd really like to know how they perform and how car looks with those on,
I did lots of search before posting this topic

so if anyone have any info. or pictures I'd be very thankfull to them
or where it could be orderd for best price...

I'd be curious to know what dealers said they had adjustable coilovers out for the USDM Fit. I say this because I inquired about adjustable coilovers with TEIN directly and got this reply on 1/31:

Thank you for your interest in TEIN High Performance Suspension products. Unfortunately, we do not currently offer a coilover package that incorporates adjustable damping force controls for the US spec Honda Fit. We have released an adjustable damping setup for the JDM version, but fitment cannot be guaranteed for US spec left hand drive vehicles. Additionally, installation of adjustable piston shafts onto the Basic kit could possibly be made by our engineering staff here in the US. I'm in Europe...so I asked Tein about Jazz coilovers and got this rplay

Your message has been passed to us as we handle all the Tein
distribution in Europe.

The JDM Jazz will be the same set up as the Euro car and only
trim levels may differ.

For this car, all products are special order only and are for the
driving range between daily driven cars, to cars occasionally
used on the track.

There are both coilovers and springs available for this car.

Ride height range for coilovers are Front -40mm to -60mm and
rear -10mm to -30mm

Ah, that explains alot. Wish we had that kind of choice over here.

 

the only way i would buy teins seriously is for the ss or the flex systems.

personally to me its not worth it to buy the basics
