looking to get either Progress or T1R springs...help.

Ok guys,

this is will be my first suspension modification ever and i need help deciding between the Progress and the T1R's. They are both similar in the drop that i want to get and this is a daily driver vehicle...i dont need too much stiffness added to the ride but i do want better handling. I will also add the Progress rear sway bar.

I know that having said that some of you will say, well then progress is the obvious choice, but i've also heard that you get what you pay for and i was wondering if it was worth spending th extra money on the T1R springs from a quality stand point? maybe Progress makes a great spring...i dont know, that's the question i need help with: given that this is DD, and i want to add handling ability to vehicle and dont need too much stiffness, given that the car will have the PRSB installed and i want to spend the money well...then do i go with Progress springs or T1R?

thanks in advance for helping this NOOB....

progress springs are good, as far as ive heard, and since you KNOW you want hte RSB, i'd say go with that. if i knew about teh progress rsb before i bought skunk2's, i'd have gotten the progress springs. as tehy go together without issue. my springs are clunky and make noise LOL

The T1R springs are not bad, a bit bouncy but I think all springs are. I've had no problems with mine and I've been riding on them since the day I bought my brand new fit, over 15,000 KM and still going. But if you are getting the progress rear sway it's always nice to have matching components IMO.

Solbrothers is right about the spring and rsb working together well. The springs were designed to give the rsb bolts room for clearance hence no clunking as other aftermarket springs have the problem. I drive my car 90-100 miles a day for commute and i have no problems with them.

thanks for the help guys...it sounds like i'll be placing an order to Progress soon.

there are so many choices out there and i just want to buy something that's worth the money and high quality, sounds like Progress springs are ok, even thought they are the cheapest.
