Thanks. Alcantara suede. Once I saw it, I said I gotta have it. And the Fit's interior material was ooof!

ooof?

Yeah, that suede looks amazing! Dare I ask what you mean by ooof?

Well back to the subject at hand. The front sway came in today so I'll be installing it after work assuming the rain holds off long enough. I'll hopefully be posting pics of the sway and my car tomorrow or the next day, thanks again for all the comments.

Big bucks. Material cost and labor cost wise. I call that Ooof!

Install Issues!

Ok so here's the deal... the sway came in on Tues. So after work I started the install, the factory sway was completely unbolted. Then the unforseen happened, apparently the subframe has to be loose enough, not removed, loose enough to remove the factory sway from the stock location. So I bust out the compressor, and of course my compressor is on the fritz. Needless to say I did not complete the install and had to bolt up the factory sway bar.

My question to the thread: A) For those that have a front sway bar, did you install it yourself? B) Is this the same method you had to use to install your sway bar? C) Did anyone pay their local shop to install the T1R, Aftermarket, Etc. sway bar and how much did it cost you?

Thanks in advance for any input, or guidance.
Scott

Check out the Battleendless Front Sway Bar Installed Thread on page 3. You need replacement bolts for the subassembly.

Well I had the sway bar installed for me just the other week. Cost me about $200, with an alignment. And I could not be happier, all thats left is wheels/tires, or just tires. Definately "Bang for Buck" best part that I've put on the car.

Are you running a rear sway of any kind? I have Progress rear sway and am looking at T1R front with T1R lower arm brace.

Bars, Bars, and more Bars

No I don't have a rear sway, no front lower bar, just the front sway, front and rear strut bars, and Tein S-Techs. I'm looking into new tires soon, and I absolulety love the front sway bar. I tried putting my friends 205/55/16 black slipstreams on and they look amazing, but the front passenger side rubs the underlining of the fender. Which is weird because, on the stock wheels the driver side is lower than the passenger, but with the wheels on the driver side is fine and the passenger side rubs.... odd right. Anyways I love the sway bar, lover the springs, and can't wait to get wheels and tires of my own.

P.S.~ I'll be posting pics A.S.A.P. as soon as figure out how, asta-la-byebye.
