Is it possible to just buy the FRONT lowering springs?

All right here goes...

everytime i see another lowered fit here on the forums,i hate my DF210's even more.I want to go either T1R v2's,or Tein S-Techs or Skunks.

Is it possible to just buy the front springs?I know the rears take like 10 minutes to change but it'll be cheaper to just buy 2 springs no?

homie why would you wanna buy just the front springs, the back already sits higher on every set of springs, youd have an even more uneven look. how much does the dfs drop in the front? i thought it was pretty low?

Tanabe's ***,they claim 1.8/1.5 but it looks more like 1.3/1.5

that's one reason i just want to change the fronts.I think the DF's sits lower in the REAR than other springs.

Your car sits so much lower than me its not even funny

i almost went tanabe too, im kinda glad i didnt. cuz my teins ACTUALLY give the 1.8 in the front and 1.6 in the rear.

I highly doubt that you would be able to buy just the front 2 springs unless you called the company and did it that way. No part supplier would break up a set. I could be wrong but i doubt it. Good luck to you though. Skunk2 is a pretty decent company to work with, i know cause i dealt with them a bunch with my springs.

First, some manufacturers will sell only front or rear springs but you have to ask ... nicely.

Second, why would you want a 1.5" rake toward the front? Besides looking funny, that also induces some strange handling

well...no go from Tein, they only do that with coilovers.
I called skunk 2 but they're in a meeting but it's unlikely

Looks like I'm gonna have to buy a whole set, which isnt bad except for money wise because I'm gonna have to take off the rear springs anyway to install the Progress bar.

if you want more rake, just make some donuts out of dynamat or
something, layer it 1/4" or so and put it between the chassis and
the top spring mount.

walla. almost free.

dfs sit lower in the back then all the other springs. besides the sportline.

but what i have noticed is the tein s.techs sit lower in the front.

by at least a finger gap.

my buddy on df210s parked next to mine was like a teeter toter.

there was a huge difference.

your posts make no sense or have any relevance.

I said putting "diy dynamat spacers" is ghetto..you come back with "i bought DF210s?"

and that is the whole point of this thread,i AM planning on buying a different setup.

wow,off to the ignore list you go

I think what he wants is to be lower. Not so much more of a rake. Its reversed rake right now, adding spacers to the rear would make his car sit stock almost.

Sam, buy new springs. The whole set, done deal.
Mixing springs with different manufactures can mess up the ride and handling characteristics due to different spring rates.

At the meet, the car sat fine to me. It didnt look too low or too high. Maybe it was another white Fit?

Teins. DO IT.

If you want LOW, T1R's v2's. The rears are going to need cutting. Youll rub though, promise that.
