I've got progress spring installed w/ 195/50/15's I know that one side is higher than the other by nature but when i'm coasting the ride is very "bouncy"? like if i just go 30 - 40mph in nuetral and coast i can feel slight "springiness" even on flat roads.. what do you guys think it could be? I went to the dealer and had them tighten all my bolts after i did the spring install so that rules that out. The springs make no creeks, squeeks or bump noises when going over bumps... Its very annoying and i'm wondering if just the lower profile tire and the fact that the springs are stiffer is causing me to feel what i wasn't able to feel with stock springs and stock tires?
How would i know if there is a problem with the axel/bearings?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The tires are as much a part of your suspension as the springs are. Lower profile tires have less sidewall and as a result can't compress as much as a tire with a larger sidewall. So, basically, they're "stiffer" than stock tires, so you'll feel more bumps and want-not.
arrgghh.. just doesn't seem normal to me, i can't remember my other hondas feeling like this.. even on flat surface or mostly flat surface its just a ever so slight annoying bounce or on an medium acceleration it almost feels like slight wheel hop? if that makes sense..

is it a vibration? are your lugs torqued correctly? do you have a flat

The lower profile and stiffer springs do indeed increase the 'response' of your Fit to road surface irregularities. Thats the reason the hipo Ferrari, BMW, etc go with lower stance and lower profile tires. There's less angle between true path and steered path when you turn, too. Most of that extra spring stiffness is due to excessive lowering (2" or more) and to the light weight of the FIT (2500#). Just goes with the territory.
Lugs are tightened atleast i think they are... tires are brand new less than 100 miles on them so i doubt there is a flat spot.. rims and tires are brand new came balanced from JLBmotorsports (they have the balancing weights on them). I was thinking it could be an off balanced wheel also.. if i had to describe it i would say it feels as if something is off balanced or out of sync maybe.. like lets say you had one rim that wasn't tightened enough so it would give a slight wobble which would give you vibration and in my case a springy/bouncy feeling but very subtle.. enough to feel it thou as i said when slowing to a stop the bounce gets progressively more noticeable.. i dont know the tire pressure when its cold i believe it is around 32 - 34 like you said because i did check the pressure today but that was after a 10 - 15minute drive.. one tire had low pressure but i pumped it up and i still feel the bounce.. sorry if the description sucks but im not sure howelse to describe it..

did you pop the cv joint when you installed the fronts? might be out of
alignment on the cv joint? not sure wat else it could be, given that you
installed the springs correctly. the sus on this car is so darn simple...

I popped something out.. but i don't get a clunking sound or anything.. how would i know if the cv joint is out? and how the heck do i realign it if it is..
it should be fine. the last 10yrs+ working on honda's ive never
had a cv pop out on me hahaha. it would be a twist push,
twist push, until it pops back in.
try eliminating your wheels/tires first.

Went to honda today and confirmed the CV and Axel are fine.. gonna try getting some wheel centric hub rings to see if that aleveates the problem.. if not then i'll switch wheels around and finally if that doesn't work i'll balance the wheels..
your wheels are lugcentric by design. most wheels are these days.
those centering rings are there more for alignment and ease of installation
when you mount your wheels back on the car.
try the rotation trick first... you might not have to get those rings.
there are times those rings do help, coincidentally.
im not running centering rings on my current wheelset. no vibrations,
no issues.

oh.. yah, if you already ordered it definitely go pick them up from the store.
well u might want those centering rings anyways... they take stress off of the wheel bolts... my mechanic had a civic with some enkei rims on it and after driving about 30k the bolts finally snapped and there went his rim under his car, being dragged to a stop... eeek!! It all depends on what wheels you have I suppose. I would just put the stock wheels on and see what you can tell from that.
