swift spring of tanabe gf210?
Hi Fitfreaker!
I'm looking to buy some coil spring for my fit and i dunno which one to take between the swiftspring and the tanabe gf210. I've read a lot on the forum and each one have good feedback.
What will be the best choice? I want something who'll be confortable and will increase the handling.
Thanks a lot
Carl

you're not going to increase handling from just lowering springs...
it will actually make it worse while people get other components to
compensate for the lost handling.
they are primarily for dressup, so get the one that looks best for you.

Both springs are good, but it depends on how much you want to lower your car. And what wheel/tire combo your going to be running. I'd say swift springs because of the small lower stance or even check out the Tein High Tech Springs that drop about the same amount.
I have the gf210's and I feel it made a noticable difference in handeling. there is definitly less body roll. ride actually feel a little better than stock. a little stiffer but it doesnt tip and rock as much.
I will through my hat in for the GF210's, they increase handling by 10 fold and have progressive spring rates to improve the ride. The downside is it is more bumpy, but any springs will bring that. It also lowers the car enough you will notice your lip scraping on things... with that said the GF210's have the LEAST amount of drop of any spring on the market right now.
Bottom line is it is a must have for performance IMO

i would check with tiffany to see if her swift springs settled a little more or not.
it's a very mild drop, it's definitely a drop but it's very mild.
when i lower a car i like to lower it around 1.2" or so. not too low but very
noticably dropped.
