Painting The Drums/Rotors and some other 'stuff'
Painting The Drums/Rotors and some other 'stuff'
So I went to Pann Auto in SanDiego and got some goodies for my fit. Worked on my FIT for a little and decided to spray the rotors and drums with some black caliper paint and it turned out pretty good. Better than the rust you could see before.
If you are in SoCal, visit Pann Auto. I can't recommend them enough!
BJ (SDPann) is a great guy and he's got plenty of stuff to spend your paycheck on!!
Here are the pics.
Paint I used.

The drain plugs will wait until I change the fluids.
Time for BBQ and a cold Corona!

i used engine enamel paint for parts that get heated. duplicolor sells a
matte black.
i dont think rustoleum withstands heat that well, but should be fine
unless you track the car or something. your wheel might stick onto the
hub.

I should have been more specific. The primer isn't my top coat. I used it to prime the (rusty) surface prior to putting on the (black) caliper paint on the drums/rotors. I think it will be ok.
