The reason you can't find much information on that kit is because it has never been released. I think there are only like 3 of the prototype kits on the road but that's not the rear shock that I remember sending out.

If we get enough interest for those kits again we will definately put them back on the drawing board.

Yes, he is the guy that we did most of the prototypes with. I think this may be one of his kits actually. I sent the picture to our tech here and it is one of our rear shocks. By the looks of those springs it was a Time Attack setup too. Definitely a steal at that price. So who won that auction anyways?

wasn't hard. Scroll down for Honda Fit, it's $1,071.84

thats kinda pricey for non damping adjustable coils. for that i'd pony up the extra dough and get skunk 2's.

This isn't specific to any product or brand out there but unless you put a shock on a shock dyno and click through all the different settings, you really have no idea what each little click will do to the dampening control. Most people don't need that kind of adjustability nor does it necessarily mean it's a better product. We have had plenty of success with our coil-over kits on top notch race cars.

A proper suspension setup starts with spring rates, then goes to dampening control, then alignment, then sway bars for the finishing touch. If you need more adjustments after playing with all of those settings adding more adjustments to the equation generally just adds to the confusion.

if it comes with the top mounts then that's not all that expensive imho.

considering the ET's are $900 at a super discounted price $1K with top mounts
sounds about right.

and i too agree that adjustability is nice if you know wat you're doing, but
most folks do not know how to setup their suspension so it's easier (and better)
to have less adjustability in some cases.
