Front sway bar VS Rear sway bar VS Front&Rear

I just wanted to know what you guys think of the 3 setups. Front only, Rear only, or Front and Rear. I'm under the impression that each of the 3 setups has a different handling quality, and having both front and rear kinda cancels it out. But let me know what you guys think and how each setup differs. Thanks mang!

ok well its really better to get the rear sway bar due to the fact that alot of the stress when turning comes from the rear. if you get both bars, your handling will be really great.

All Fits have a front sway bar. The GDs do not have a rear bar, unless the owner has added the bar from The Progress Group. The GE Sport models have both a front and a rear sway bar.

FF - Front engine front wheel drive

For FFs, your focus should be towards the rear of the car. For example: My DB8

I left my stock front sway bar alone and upgraded to a larger rear sway bar. By doing this, I increased rigidity in the rear and decrease understeer. By upgrading the front sway bar, you will increase understeer. Just in case you didn't know, FFs suffer from understeer. For FR (front engine rear wheel drive) cars, you should do the exact opposite. Upgrade the front sway bar and leave the rear sway bar stock. Some FR drivers actually remove their rear sway.

I hope this helps some people.

i dont think you would want to buy an upgrade front and rear as it would cancel each other out in a way. as JDMxGE8 said upgrade the rear with a larger rear sway bar

Having both a front and rear sway won't cancel anything. Saying that is like saying wearing iron boots will cancel out the weight of iron gloves (horrible analogy, I know. stfu)

It will make each respective end stiffer, but won't do much for the difference in rigidity front to back, as far as I know.

Well as far as my knowledge i was aware that upgrading front and rear would cancel each other out. but I wasnt aware of upgrading the front sway would increase the understeer of a FF car. but as cojaro was saying that they wont cancel each other out. Either way i will probably leave the front sway stock unless otherwise. and just upgrade to a rear sway first. Thanks for all the info guys! +1 for all

Wouldnt it feel more stable though and less flex??? in both the front and rear??? so steering wise it would cancel too bad. at least i hope. but ill let you guys know when i install. but def get the rear sway bar cause it is really good.

So i installed my front sway bar on saturday and i drove my car all sunday. I took some twisties and found that the car does understeer more than with just the rear sway bar but it feels like it over steers a bit more that stock. personally i like it with both. im used to cars that understeer more that this so its better i guess. but the car does feel more stable than stock and thats what i like the most.

tanabe doesnt make a rear sway bar for the fit. just a front and rear strut bar progressive and ultra brace are the only companies with arear sway bar for the gd3.
