Progress Auto Rear Anti-Sway bar Qs

Just wondered whether Progress makes 2 variations of the bar, one to fit JDM and one to fit USDM?

As i have just received a sway bar, and tried to get it fitted with no avail. (Mines a JDM/EDM Jazz, not USDM)

I have even tried fitting the bar in reverse.. with the poking ends facing the front of the car, but thats a no go as the bar hits the spare wheel well.

Haven't got a picture of my car underneath, but its pretty much the same as this pic (take from the other Progress thread)... however the exhaust is fitted on the other side of the car unlike this one.

To show you what i mean, heres the pic:

The red square shows what i'm hitting when trying to install the bar.

Any advice?

PS... i know about the mounting holes and drilling a few extra's but thats not where the problem lies

try jacking the rear of the car up in the air so the rear cross beam hangs down lower. take off the springs and then try to bolt it up. this helped me have enough room to install it. what fit/jazz do you have the gd3 or ge8? maybe you got the wrong bar.

AFAIK, Progress only makes one RSB for the Fit, and it is for USDM GD3 only. In my last conversation with Joey at Progress, they are working on another bar for the GE8's, that will supplement the stock Sport bar that is already on the car. Based on your photos and description, your Progress bar won't fit your car.

that really sucks...

Are there any other alternatives to the Progress one... or is Progress the only company which make rear sway bars for the Fit/Jazz
