install my progress springs or buy some coils

Hey guys i am about to install my springs next weekend. But now i am thinking after reading so much on springs and coils. That maybe i should just wait and buy some coils ethier skunks or T1R B52 there are some on here both used and good price. So i am thinking about snathcing them up. This way i don't have to worry so much about my stock struts. What do u guys think install my srings or wait and buy one of those coils?? I don't mind saving up for some coils but i would more than likely put them on my credit card and just slowly pay that off

install the progress springs and then save up and get the t1r struts. that is about all the suspension that you could really need.

^^^ yups. i have tanabe gf210 installed in my fit and i'm perfectly happy about it, except the ride quality, meaning .. bouncy. but that's what happens when you put performance parts in your car you loose that ride quality.
may not be much but i've been running stock shocks for 1 week and there are no signs of squeaking or leaking coming for the shocks. just do it, you'll be satisfied just invest money later on cause you might be buying coilover later on. who knows. =]

I installed my Progress springs about May/June and I'll be getting coilovers soon. Good thing about springs is that when you re-sell them you can still get a decent amount back. I couldn't stand my car being stock height for that long, thats why I opted for springs as a temporary fix.

Well i just got a great deal on coils T1r B52 and they have about 2,300 miles on them and $700 shiped to me i can't beat that so i am geting them and selling the progress springs. I have the cash now for them so the money i would put aside every month toward coils i will just save and pay off some debt. like credit card and car

Yes i did. I was going to wait and save up for about 6-7 months for some but i have the money now might as well get them at a huge discount when i can. I figure it saves me money down the road. And the money i would have saved for them every month i can just put that into savings. But i still have to save up to install these not sure if its as easy as springs. Oh and i got my rotas D2 in today so this will complete the fit with the new sexy wheels and the drop on the coils

Go with the coilovers and skip the lowering springs, I say. What's a few months' worth of waiting and saving for the better option, right?

The way I see it, lowering springs are simply a stopgap. My two cents
