bored at work, so i made this

so it was a slow day at work a few weeks back, so i was bored and my boss let me tinker with some bars in my car. here are the pix

rear seats still work, btw

these dont really take away from the visibility, so all good.

that looks awesome, do the rear seats still recline? looks like it's already making contact with the bars.

yes, can you sell me these butterfly bars? Only if it feels like it's keeping the rear stable around corners though

I like how the x-bar isn't welded together. Although it might work better if it was connected?

These are those universal c-pillar bars that i measured, and slapped together. the seat does rest on the bar, so you cant recline it. Rear end feels stiffer, really like how it turned out. Noticable difference when i go around corners, freeway on ramps, etc.

trancedsailor: should be better if it was one piece. Next step may be to cut it up and weld it, but that's later on once i finalize my suspension.

what c pillar bars? These are all cpillar bars? That's amazing.
