what set of coilovers should i get?

hmm.. i don't know if i can agree with that. on a 205 tire with a 50 sidewall my pro-c's can be pretty jarring on even on the lowest setting. my parents hate riding in my car, thats how i judge the DD quality LoL... personally, i like it and couldn't have it any other way
for the OP:
FYI, my valving is 7 front and 8 rear and it can get difficult to modulate the gas pedal with my blitz throttle controller on sp3, even on half-way decent roads. i'm going to try Texas Cyote's spring mod and see if the extra tension will help.

the general consensus is skunk 2's are stiff as hell. to me that makes t1r's completely unsuitable for daily driving.
unfortunately the concept of what makes a good daily driver is different to all, but it safe to say most folks ideas are probably closer to what the average person considers a track car than a daily driver.
skunk2's are great, but i woudl never use them. the fit is bumpy enough as it is.
and i know you stated that you didnt think the enduratechs lowered enough, but being super low and wanting a comfortable ride dont really go hand in hand.
i would say tein basics, enduratechs, or the aj-racing dampers and spring combo are your best bets for comfort as long as you dont want your fits ass dragging all over the place.

so the gereral opnion is skunk 2 is more dd tolarable than t1r.
that being said... i will be rinning 17/7.5 with 43 offset volks... max drop for me would be only about 1 1/2 inches before rubbing becomes an issue...and winter is also an issue... will i be able to acheive stock hight with t1r or skunk2's?
also...what is coilover is considered a higher qualiy? what would last longer...
i could get them boath used for around the same price... what would yall go for??
thanks in advance

just ordered my d2's today. for the price you can't beat them. if there not made in japan or germany all coilovers are made in taiwan. just go with what you like they all offer 1 year warranty and are rebuildable.

i heard d2's are horrible from 2 people. but thats just what i heard.
im right now debating from skunk2,std and ksport. i get those for killer prices and they are withing 20 bucks of each other. so im just waiting to see what i get.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the KW variant 2's. There are more to coilovers than just ride stiffness. Can't speak about the Skunk2 - they do look great. The KW variant 2's are great street/track coilovers with true full adjustability, they are meant for performance not drops/looks.
