Front higher than rear?

Hi, Just lowered my car on some H & R springs on a set of 16'' alloys, the back looks miles lower than the front, does anyone know why this is? or what do I do to rectify it. I've also noticed that above 70mph the car/steering wheel vibrates.. I had a technician to do the job as well so surely its the tyres problem?

well the height situation is most likely because thats the way the springs are... i know tanabe dfs tend to have lower rears as well..

as for the wheel vibrations.. did you get your car aligned after you installed the springs?

Mmkay, cheers for the reply i know it's not good. As for the wheels, yup they were aligned- just a bit annoying at the moment because
of the speed I have to drive them

have your new wheels/tires re-balanced.

if they're aftermarket wheels then you may need hubccentric rings or learn how to properly mount your wheels to the hub. the gd3's hub bore is 56.1mm (took a while to dig that up using the search button)

i'm not running hubccentric rings and my wheel bore is 67.1mm.. i took my time mounting my wheels making sure they've made flush and even contact with the hub and i get no wheel vibrations even up to 80+mph. eventually, i will get hub-rings because it's just that much easier when removing/remounting wheels.

It does take several days for the suspension to settle after changing springs. Are you sure you don't have the springs reversed, rears in the front and fronts in the rear? Just a thought.

Depending on the drop of the springs you can get the illusion that the rear is lower. The front wheel well is bigger than the rear, so a even drop will make the rear look lower... Thats why most springs are like a 1.5 front and 1-1.25 rear, to give it a more even look.
