KYB struts

Can someone tell me why this site says their KYB struts won't fit on the sport model? Arn't the base and sport models the same suspension?

To get to that page, I had to go through Products for Honda Fit 2007

That's weird. I would think they were the same, too.

I'm about 1000% sure the Base and Sport have exactly the same suspension.

i dont think so. until they make adjustables no reason why someone would just buy KYB's to replace stocks.

KYB makes a good shock or at least they did. I put a set on a 68 mustang f.b. and 68 charger and they really make a dif. I would hope they stiffen up susp. on the Fit like they did on the ol' scool stuff.

i suppose compared to a worn out set it would improve but dont we want stiffer than stock shocks to work with lowering springs?

The factory struts are also KYB. I'd be interested to know if the valving is exactly the same. If not, I would personally go with the factory ones so at least you know what your getting.

How does the damping pair up with the pro kit? Any bottoming or lack of rebound control?
