Feedback on Ground Control Kit with Eibach Springs

I see these 400$ sets of ground control kit that uses Eibach Springs. Wondering if anyone has good feedback on these and if they are worth paying extra for compared to springs, and the pros and cons of having these over springs or coilovers.

I'm debating on either going swift springs or these. Also are these comparable to koni yellows on civics?

I had these on a 99 Civic LX.

They were good, rode fine, no problems, etc...BUT...I never once adjusted them in the 4 years I had them on. So to me, looking back, it wasn't worth it. I should have just bought lowering springs at the desired height.

For whatever it's worth.

So pretty much they are a set of adjustable springs? I was just hoping there would be some significance performance differance on these over springs.

They're like coilovers a la carte. As long as you read the spring rates and match them up with some shocks that work well, they'll be great. Even if you don't and just throw a set up together, it still would probably be ok. Had em on my other car (IS300) with stock shocks and I liked em fine even though they weren't made for each other, I went to Tanabes when a deal came up and then Tein CS after that. Porsche/Miata/E30/etc... dudes love em.

I have been running these for about 3 years now and love them the positive to this set up is that if your shocks and struts go out you can just replace the shocks and struts without having to buy a whole new coil over setup. But the drawback for the fit is the limited number of companies that are making performance shocks and struts for the fit. I am right now running the T1r shocks and struts on the ground control coil over’s and am very please the other benefit is that you can specify your stiffness of the springs that you want to run. I have been very happy with mine but the only drawback for the fit is that koni has not made anything for the fit. Hope that helps

dont expect to get low with these on oem dampers. will work for the time being but will not last long. Koni hasnt made any plans on making the yellows for the fit otherwise i would jump on the GCs. tokico has the DSPEC but at $1k+ you're better off gettin lowering springs or going with full coilovers systems, like the skunk2's theres a groupbuy check it out
