Buddyclub N+ Help

Hi guys,

I got my car back from having the coilovers fitted and the guys said that it was sitting really low (how low you ask, 75mm off the ground at the lowest point) at the back and it was wound up as high as possible.

I get home and had a look at how the rears are set up and comparing it to some pictures I have seen around here and elsewhere I'm not sure if they have put them in correctly.

Is the metal perch meant to be seated in the base of the spring holder or is it meant to be at the top like it currently is (i've seen it both ways on the GD3 which is worrisome..as someone is kicking around with it setup wrong out there)?

Also, is the shock body meant to be height adjusted in conjunction with the spring perchs (is that what they are called, the gold coloured threaded part)? I ask because I noticed it looked as though it was threaded near the top (where the silver shaft comes out of the shock body) and the thread was wound all the way up?

Would these two things combined be the reason it is sitting so low even when they have wound it out as much as possible on the perchs?

Or is this coilover setup just meant to be absurdly low? I have seen it on peoples cars wound down and they still have a LOT more clearance than I do (fitting 1 or 2 fingers in) at the rear so I don't think it is meant to be this low.

This is the setup when the wheel is off and it is under no load.

This is under load with the wheel on the ground.

^ ditto

nearly ever c/o system i've seen has the adjustable perch at the bottom (won't affect ride height)...

and also looks like you're missing a rubber bit (won't change it much)...
