FIT 5 lug conversion

I was advised by an online Honda tech. that the 2007 Civic hub, part # FR. 44600-SNA-A00 can be used on the Fit to convert it to utilize 5 lug wheels. I apoligize if this is the wrong dept. for this post. It is my intent to run one of the newer Civic OEM alloy wheels, as I am not to impressed with the current selection of aftermarket wheels. I will post here again if I am able to make this work well.

I received the information after my local Honda parts counter had closed. I have not yet been able to verify it. I assumed the tech. that supplied the part number was refering to all 4 hubs. I also assumed he knew what he was talking about as it cost me $25.oo to get the answer. I do not know if the rear break drum utilizes a different hub than the front disk break. We will soon find out.

Concerning my wheel preference, I wanted Advan super racing ver II 3 spoke wheels, but they are no longer being made. Now I have my eyes on OEM 2009-2011 civic alloy wheels. The attempt to be original is always difficult and expensive.

i think your best bet would be to get wheel spacer/adapters.

jpax used a combination of ep3 and fast brake components to do the rear.

the front was just a fd2 hub i believe.
